| About Us... Golspie Youth Action Project was established in 1994. It exists to benefit local youth - particularly those of high school age and over. Golspie is a small Highland village in Sutherland, 51 miles north of Inverness. We currently have a membership of 48, and have attracted 25 new members since the beginning of this year's new school term. We operate on three evenings per week and have attendances of around 35 members per night. Members can come and play pool, darts, playstation, listen to music, play indoor sports, such as badminton, table tennis, and 5-A-Side football. We have an internet ready computer, a karaoke machine, cover those ear's! Profit raised from the members' coffee bar purchased a DVD player. So with plenty going on, it's really a cool place to be! |
